David is the Camp Director and owner of U.S. Elite Camps. He is the designer of the program and has shaped U.S. Elite Camps into the exciting and fun team of athletes and coaches that it is today. 'Edry' makes the daily training sessions tick. His high energy and the strange ability to 'act like a kid' 24-hours a day are what keeps everyone smiling.

Edry has coached young athletes to the U.S. Nationals and has athletes currently on the U.S. Ski Team racing on the FIS World Cup. During the 2012-13 season, four of Edry's former athletes were skiing on the U.S. Ski Team! Having coached kids for over 35 years, Edry's knowledge, experience and love for the sport of ski racing and helping athletes reach their goals has been a big factor in the success of U.S. Elite Camps.

When not at camp, David is the Executive Director of the Loon Race Team at Loon Mountain, New Hampshire. Edry moved to Loon from Stratton Resort in 2019 to lead and grow the emerging program. Prior to Loon, Edry was the Executive Director and Head Alpine Coach at the Stratton Winter Sports Club at Stratton Mountain, Vermont for 7 years. Edry was at Stratton Mountain School as the Head J3/4 Coach and Head of Children's programs for 7 years and is a Level 400 Alpine Coach and a Level 1 Certified Crossfit instructor. He is a Plymouth State College Alumni (Go Panthers!), experienced rock climber, a former category-2 bike racer, a 4x Boston Marathon Qualifier, and a reasonably fair golfer. It's tough to slow him down!

U.S. Elite Camps is proud of its high-level professional coaches. We hire and work with our own coaches, so you can be sure of consistency and quality in training techniques. Although some coaches cannot attend all camp sessions, we've included many the incredible team members below.
