U.S. Elite Camps Mount Hood Sessions are designed for athletes ages 10-18 that are looking for amazing summer ski training on a unique Oregon glacier venue. The camps blend the highest level of slalom and giant slalom racing instruction (we only hire professional coaches) and training with an off-hill program that has a traditional camp feel.
The training sessions provide the athletes with an incredible summer ski camp opportunity to develop and change their skiing. We take pride in our incredible team and family feel. The Mount Hood Camp offers 9 days on snow and 1 rest day that will give all athletes a camp that will help them change their skiing!
The Day Campers stay with family in the evening and ski with the camp all day. Everything is included except food and a bed! Day campers will have the full camp experience of skiing, training, and off-hill fun.
Full Day Camper Tuition: $TBA
Campers will have 9 days* of skiing/training plus one rest day with lodging just down the access road from Mount Hood. The all-inclusive tuition includes all skiing, coaching, tickets, food, lodging, all off-hill activities and transportation to and from Portland International Airport on the designated travel days.
Full Boarding Camper Tuition: $TBA
*Weather permitting ~ although we rarely lose days!
Be a part of a fun, safe, and professional ski racing camp. The camps are truly unique. We are a family and a team.

On-hill coaches work in small groups to slow things down and revisit fundamentals through drill work, drill courses and to bring these changes into gate training. Through morning sessions on the hill, video sessions, and evening ski talks, athletes come away with new perspectives, new awareness, new excitement for ski racing as well changes in their skiing. Did we mention fun? U.S. Elite Camps take pride in a high fun factor and family feel.
The U.S. Elite Camps housing is located a short drive from the mountain. The Mt Hood camp has a traditional summer camp feel, but with better food! We stay in a quiet and safe location where kids can just enjoy being kids. Our camp House Mom is travels with us to ensure all of our kids have the care of home.
We pride ourselves on offering a full program of activities and creating a supportive, safe, family atmosphere. Our athletes come from all over the U.S. and overseas. For those traveling from New England we offer a staff chaperoned group flight from the Boston/Hartford area and the New York City area to Portland International Airport, PDX (when minimum numbers are met) . Our family atmosphere, on-staff counselors, and experienced 24 hour supervisors support younger athletes and camp first-timers, while comfortable rooms and small age-specific ski groups create a nurturing environment for all.
Campers can choose from afternoon activities such as yoga, rock climbing, or field games, to design a schedule that suits their needs. At the same time, group hikes, camp meetings, ski group video analysis and meals together reinforce the important team feel. If you love action, this camp is for you! Compared with other ski camps, we spend less time hanging out with 'free time' and focus more on fun, fitness, and what we came here to do...train!
You'll notice that we have lots of nice, friendly touches and take fun, quality, supervision, and safety really seriously. U.S. Elite Camps was the first (and only) ski racing camp to receive an ACA (American Camp Association) accreditation for camp safety and best practice. While camp is in session parents can access our online Camp Diary, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter for a taste of what we are up to. We even have a couple of 'Facebook Live' sessions! The archived photo galleries are available for free online long after the goggle tan has faded.
