2023 Mount Hood Camp Session-2 Day 6 Rest Day!

U.S. Elite Camps Day 6 Review
Today was our rest day! We woke up around 7:30 am. Blaine (the chef + manager) made bacon, eggs, and pancakes for breakfast. After that around 8:45 we left for Hood River and went shopping. Then for lunch we went to Pietro’s for pizza and arcade games. Then we went swimming at a river. Later we learned that the other side of the river is the state of Washington. After we grouped up, we went to Draper Girls Country Farm. We saw goats and played with Mrs. Kitty. Mrs. Kitty has half a tail and is 18 years old (We asked the cashier). After that we went back to the lodge and tuned our skis. The shops were fun with all the silly things the boys did. At dinner we had some buskin tacos made by the chef himself Blaine. Of course, we had our bedtime at 8 pm. And that is it!
