U.S. Elite Camps Day 4 Review
Today, we skied two courses in lane one! The first course was an ‘above/above’ course meaning you must ski above two brushes near each gate. The second course was organized to help skiers improve their line. The course did this by having three brushes (high, middle, and low lines), and you improve your line by racing through the line which you need help with. In the beginning of the day, it was windy and the sun was covered by clouds making it very cold. Luckily, by the end of the day it warmed up and the lift lines were short because many skiers left. The courses held up well because the coaches put down twelve bags of salt (480lbs!). In conclusion, it was a successful training day with many runs.
